OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is to provide well-researched and targeted assistance where those we help can then take their knowledge into their community and pass it on. We spend a lot of time searching for the right local people and then providing them with the information and knowledge that they need to develop their communities using their reefs and related natural resources wisely. This is whether they are from fishing villages developing their livelihoods & homes, or dive & snorkel operators, developing their businesses & community.

OUR TEAM There is one permanent member of staff in the REEF-WORLD Foundation – Anne Miller – and several volunteers that have assisted us over the years and in some cases, continue to do so. Without these friends, our work would not be possible and we would like to thank everyone who has worked with us and provided your kind support and knowledge. The Reef-World Foundation has 5 trustees.

We work with numerous friends, groups, volunteers, industry professionals, government officers, NGO staff, fishing families to achieve both their goals and the Reef-World mission.
We have chosen to remain a lean organisation without office administrative overheads.
We prefer to remain a relatively small organisation that can respond quickly and efficiently to changing needs of the communities we service to achieve great results.
